As part of the celebration, female participants enrolled in the in-person and online Kawthar educational courses took part in a Quranic procession toward the courtyard of the Holy Alawi Shrine. Holding copies of the Holy Quran and flowers, the participants proceeded from the Dar al-Quran center to the sacred courtyard, expressing their joy and devotion on this auspicious occasion.
Quranic Gathering
In a statement to the Shrine’s Media Center, Ms. Dalal al-Tabatabaei, Head of the Women’s Dar al-Quran Department, stated that the program included a Quranic gathering held in the Riwaq of Lady Ruqaya (peace be upon her). The gathering featured Quranic vocal performances, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere marked by faith and reverence.
Quranic Debate
She added that another segment of the event was a Quranic debate on Surat al-Baqarah, organized for first-level students, alongside the recitation of devotional poetry in praise of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him). These activities, she noted, play a vital role in reinforcing Quranic culture and strengthening religious identity among the students.
Conclusion of Quran Memorization
Ms. Tabatabaei further explained that the program also witnessed the conclusion of Quran memorization for a number of students from the provinces of Kirkuk and Baghdad. The recitation of the final page of the Holy Quran took place in the vicinity of the shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), in a deeply spiritual setting that reflected the sanctity of the occasion and the profound bond between the Quran and the Pure Household.
