The Quran Center of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine welcomed the delegation to acquaint them with its educational and specialized Quranic programs. During the visit, outstanding Iraqi students in Quranic recitation and memorization were also evaluated.
Ala Muhsin, director of the Quran Center, stated in an interview with Shrine’s News Center:
“This delegation met with officials to review the Shrine’s support for Pakistani children and youth residing in Najaf in the fields of Quran memorization and recitation.”
He added that after listening to recitations by distinguished Pakistani students, the delegation commended the Shrine’s extensive efforts in fostering Quranic abilities and developing their vocal and performance skills.
The Quran Center officials affirmed, during the meeting, their commitment to ongoing cooperation with Quranic institutions across the Islamic world—an initiative aimed at spreading the culture of the Holy Quran and strengthening fraternal ties among nations.
Evaluation of Iraqi Students in Quran Memorization and Recitation
Amir al-Kassar, another official of Shrine’s Quran Center, announced that the center’s Educational Unit conducted an assessment session for young learners under the supervision of instructors of the “recitation imitation” program.
He explained that these assessments are part of a broader educational plan designed to cultivate the students’ vocal and performance skills in Quranic recitation through methods of imitation and recreation. The participants delivered remarkable performances, reflecting the dedicated efforts of the teaching staff in guiding and preparing them.
At the conclusion of the session, the supervisors emphasized that such programs represent a vital step in training a new generation of Quranic scholars—youth who will serve the Book of God Almighty and contribute to the spread of its blessed teachings.
