The Dar al-Quran Unit of the Holy Alawi Shrine hosted a group of international students enrolled in its Quranic programs, along with prominent Quranic and religious figures from outside Iraq, as part of the celebrations marking the birth anniversary of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).
In a statement to the Shrine’s News Center, Amir Kassar, a servant of the Dar al-Quran Unit, said:
“This event included an introduction to the Quranic and educational programs and courses offered by Dar al-Quran to the visiting delegation, familiarization with specialized methodologies for teaching Quranic recitation in accordance with recognized standards, enhancement of vocal performance, development of individual talents, and an overview of the continuous efforts undertaken to support Iraqi and international students alike.”
He added that these activities fall within the mission of the Holy Alawi Shrine to promote authentic Quranic culture, strengthen Quranic ties among different nationalities and cultures, and reinforce faith-based values inspired by the path of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him). This approach contributes to nurturing a conscious generation and conveying the message of the Holy Quran to the wider world.
